Selangor FC will host Melaka FC in their 2025/26 Super League fixture at MBPJ Stadium, Kelana Jaya, tonight at 8:15pm.

Currently, the Red and Yellow sit fourth in the league with 22 points from 11 matches, recording seven wins, one draw and three defeats. With just a two-point gap to the team above, Selangor FC have the chance to move up to second place tonight, providing a strong way to close out the year.

Head Coach Christophe Gamel emphasised the importance of every match and the need to collect as many points as possible.

“Team preparation has gone well, and we are on track to achieve our objectives this season. Every match is important. We know no game is easy, but we must keep accumulating points. We respect our opponents and I am confident tonight will be another tough challenge, just like our previous fixtures,” said Gamel.

In terms of player availability, five players remain unavailable for selection for the #SFCMEL fixture: Sharul Nazeem (ACL injury), Zach Clough (hip muscle injury), Samuel Somerville (toe fructure), Mohammad Abualnadi (adductor muscle injury) and Izwan Yuslan (clavicle injury). Despite their absence, the Red Giants squad is determined to push hard for victory tonight.
